Middleton Crowned Yambits Club Bike Rider Of The Year
Paul Middleton was crowned 2015 Yambits Club Bike Rider of the Year at the final round at Snetterton.
Middleton, who rode the Yambits sponsored rent-a-racer at the opening round of the season at the same circuit, albeit on the 300 layout, used the Club Bike to take his first steps into motorcycle racing.
Immediately addicted to both the buzz of the on-track action and the off-track camaraderie of the Yamaha Past Masters Racing Club, Middleton left the circuit with his own, newly acquired TZR250, and after racing it at Oulton Park, he was again in action at the final round.
The award was presented at the annual presentation evening, which takes place at the final round of each year, and was marked not just on the results a Club Bike rider achieves over the weekend, but also by how much they muck in, and how much they look like they're enjoying themselves over the course of the meeting.
After receiving his award, Middleton said, "Living the dream! Many thanks to all the lads and lasses involved in the Yamaha Past Masters and Bemsee.
"I can't wait for next season."
The Yambits Club Bike is available at every round of the season, and the cost includes all consumables, bike transport, a mechanic, Friday practice, qualifying, and four races (depending on the circuit).
